Overview

The research is completed. Equipped with a resounding purpose of vengeance, a villain is once again stepping foot at the Summoner's Research Lab - posing a challenge to everyone!

Noel brings you another phenomenal creation - Trial No. X3 - featuring the Witch of the Abyss, Xie'Jing!

This Trial can only be accessed once Ice Warrior Karl (Trial 001) and The Battle Maidens (Trial No. X2) have been defeated in the Summoners' Research Lab

Rewards

Preparation

You may use up to 3 squads and 1 item set for this battle. Each of the squads must have unique units in them and you are allowed up to double your total cost. You can select a different friend from your entire friends list for each squad that you can bring in. There is no cooldown when using a friend to fight against the enemies. Your items do not get replenished when a team dies, so bring as many healing items, elemental seals, BB gauge support items, Revive items, and status cure items for paralysis/curse as you can for this fight.

Recommended Leaders: (Keep in mind that Xie'Jing nullifies leader skills for 10 turns when >10% HP)

Recommended Units:

  • Avoid thunder units if possible due to Malignant Wave deals earth damage and removes mitigation. Water, Earth, and Light units are also at risk with Demonic Atrocity. Lafdranya and White Armor can be used to deal with this with a help of Heresy/Fallacy Orb.
  • A mitigation unit to lower incoming damage:
    • Storm Champion Mikael - BB,SBB has mitigation buffs to reduce damage from powerful AoE attacks.(Keep in mind that SBB is single target attack ).UBB has 100% mitigation to survive Depraved Punishment.
    • Leviathan Sage Elimo - Recovers HP, boosts DEF, cures status ailments and stat debuffs, great Extra Skill, 3-turn 75% mitigation from UBB useful for Depraved Punishment.
    • Heavenly Claymore Dolk - Excellent elemental damage negation Leader Skill,good Extra Skill that makes himself ability to buff units with HC and BC drop fill rate and negation of elemental weakness and critical damage,UBB has 75% mitigation useful for Depraved Punishment.
    • Guardian Darvanshel - Can attack with his BB/SBB which can help push Xie'Jing's HP past certain thresholds, usable DEF buff on SBB
    • Fulgor Heroine Shera - Can attack with her BB/SBB which can help push Xie'Jing's HP past certain thresholds, boosts allies' Atk with SBB & has a high hit count on SBB.UBB has 75% mitigation useful for Depraved Punishment.
    • Mad God Narza - Negates status ailments with his BB/SBB & boosts allies' BB gauge when attacked with his SBB (purely defensive mitigator)
    • Ice Bastion Zeldeus - BB and SBB has mitigation and defense.UBB can have 75 % mitigation useful for Depraved Punishment.
    • Virtuous Champion Krantz - Recovers HP, cures status ailments, great Extra Skill, Dark (and Light) buff to help damage Xie'Jing further. 75% mitigation for 2 turns and boost ATK relative to DEF on UBB
    • Grave Carver Aaron - Boosts DEF on SBB, boosts BB gauge with BB/SBB.UBB has 75 % mitigation to survive Depraved Punishment. Not susceptible to elemental weakness.
    • Mad Heretic Gazia - Boost BB on both BB and SBB, can convert ATK->DEF and DEF->ATK. Also boosts BB Damage and BB when guarding.UBB has 75% mitigation and Dark barrier that are mandatory to survive Depraved Punishment.

    • Heavenly Emperor Kanon - Very good as sub Unit or Leader, can cure stat debuffs and boosts DEF, with 3-turn 50% mitigation through UBB
    • Galactic Treasure Ivris - can also provide Angel Idol buff to 2 random allies through UBB, provides Angel Idol to self at low HP through Extra Skill. Note: Xie'Jing will remove buffs, so the Angel Idols provided by the UBB will be wiped any time Xie'Jing uses Malignant Wave.
    • Lightning Speed Lucana - can heal and boosts ATK, DEF & REC through BB. SBB has high damage output and high hit counts.
    • Neptunian Tridon - Excellent choice as a leader or sub-unit. Adds in Earth Shield with purple HP bar to all allies with BB/SBB/UBB.
    • Ice Legend Selena - SBB provides HoT buff to combat Demonic Atrocity's Damage over Time effect, provides Angel Idol to self at low HP through Extra Skill.
    • Resplendent Queen Rinon - BB recovers HP , cure and negates status Ailments on BB / SBB . Add Light(to damage Xie'Jing further)and Dark elements to attack for 3 turns on SBB . UBB gives BB gauge fill rate for 3 turns .

      • If your units' health is high enough, you can safely guard on the turn that Malignant Wave will be cast to avoid your units dying to AoE and SBB attacks from Xie'Jing
    • Soul Siphon - Single target attack that deals 60% of unit's HP. Used once each turn for 2 turns
    • If the Unit that has been hit by Soul Siphon, and has > 60% HP at the beginning of her next turn
