Griff is one of the playable character in the Grand Quest. He was the captain of the Fourth Division of Demon Slayers, as well as the former leader of the Recon Squad.
Debut Appearance[]
After the cutscene, you will move Griff's squad to the boss tile.
In the storyline[]
Griff was an ex-soldier in Randall Empire who joined Summoners' Hall after he engaged in a fierce duel with Owen. As a captain, Griff held a strong leadership position during the early days of Summoners' Hall, which was only second to that of the Summoners of Old. He hammered the basics of battle into the new Summoners that had just joined with him, and grew to become a very capable Summoner himself.
One day, the Summoners of Old assigned Griff to be the leader of the expedition squad and sent Griff with the others to Ishgria. Soon after they arrived at the land, Shusui attacked him. Griff then left the squadron in Krantz's hands and challenged the War Demon to a duel. The duel lasts for several days, until Griff finally ran out of power and died.
Personality[]
Griff is shown as a serious man, who would scold his squadron if they started arguing with each other. He was also depicted as a hot-blooded person, as shown in his last duel with Shusui.

In the golden achievement route, Griff used this to deal heavy blow to Shusui.
